Talking Points for Letters to the Editor

-Nothing is more important to constituents than having confidence in their elected officials

-We need state legislators to continue their efforts to make North Carolina state government more open and accountable to the people

-There has been good progress so far but more can be done. The people of North Carolina deserve it.

-State Legislators should support:

-Now is the time to act to bring about more open, honest, and accountable government in North Carolina

-Our state legislators work hard and do a great deal for our community

-They deserve laws that reinforce their ethics and increase the public’s confidence in their work
